Content Moderation Policy

This Content Moderation & Review Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules, standards, and procedures by which Spixy, a platform operated by Nexxuscore Global Solutions LLP (“Spixy”, “we”, “us”, “our”), manages, monitors, and governs user-generated content (UGC) uploaded or submitted by Hosts and Guests (collectively, “users”) on the Platform. By using the Platform, all users agree to adhere to the rules, standards, and rights set forth herein. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service.
1. Scope of Content
This Policy applies to all forms of content that are uploaded, created, shared, or otherwise published by users on the Spixy Platform. This includes, but is not limited to:
Photographs, videos, and virtual tours of spaces.
Reviews, ratings, feedback, and written comments.
User profile descriptions, listing titles, and all related information.
Any other material, data, or information submitted by users through the Platform.
2. Host-Uploaded Content
Hosts are solely responsible for all content they upload to their listings. By uploading content, Hosts warrant and represent that all images, videos, descriptions, and other materials related to their spaces are accurate, current, lawful, and do not infringe upon any third-party rights. Content must not include any material that is offensive, pornographic, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading, or otherwise unlawful. Hosts further affirm that they hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any content they upload, including intellectual property rights for photographs and videos.
3. Guest Reviews and Feedback
Guest reviews are a cornerstone of the Spixy community and must be honest, respectful, and directly relevant to the booking experience. Reviews containing hate speech, harassment, threats, personal attacks, misinformation, or commentary unrelated to the Host’s service or the booked space are strictly prohibited and subject to removal. Furthermore, retaliatory or coercive reviews, such as those left in response to a dispute or under threat or extortion from either party, will not be tolerated and will be removed.
4. Moderation Standards
Spixy reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review, monitor, edit, or remove any content that, in our sole discretion, violates this Policy or the Platform’s broader Terms of Service. Grounds for moderation or removal include, but are not limited to:
Violation of any applicable law or infringement of third-party rights.
Gross misrepresentation of a property’s features, amenities, or conditions.
Fraudulent, harmful, or deliberately misleading reviews or comments.
Content that is deemed offensive, unsafe, discriminatory, or otherwise inconsistent with Spixy’s community standards.
5. Use of Content by Spixy
By uploading photographs, videos, or descriptive content to the Platform, Hosts grant Spixy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and create derivative works from such content for marketing, promotional, and brand visibility purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, publication on:
Spixy’s official website(s) and mobile application.
Verified Spixy social media handles (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X).
Digital and print marketing collateral, including advertisements and editorials.
Spixy agrees to exercise this right in a fair and reasonable manner, ensuring that such usage does not materially misrepresent the Host’s property or reputation. Hosts retain full ownership of their content, and this license does not restrict their right to use the same content independently.
6. Enforcement & Remedies
Violations of this Policy may result in disciplinary action. Users who repeatedly upload prohibited or non-compliant content may face penalties including, but not limited to, temporary account suspension, permanent removal from the Platform, or legal action where necessary. Reviews or other content removed under this Policy will not be restored, except in cases where a formal appeal is reviewed and successful. Spixy may, at its sole discretion, withhold, redact, or restrict access to any content to maintain the safety and integrity of the community.
7. Dispute Resolution
Users may report inappropriate or non-compliant content through the in-app reporting tools or by contacting our support team directly. Spixy will investigate all reports in a timely and impartial manner. While Spixy is committed to removing content that breaches our standards, it does not mediate or adjudicate subjective disagreements or personal disputes between Hosts and Guests that do not otherwise violate a specific policy.
8. Intellectual Property & Rights
Users must only upload content that they own or for which they have obtained the necessary rights and permissions to share. Spixy respects intellectual property laws and is committed to removing content that infringes on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other rights upon receiving a proper and valid notification. Hosts explicitly agree that Spixy may reformat, resize, crop, or otherwise adapt uploaded content to ensure it is suitable for display on the Platform or for use in authorized marketing campaigns.
9. Zero Tolerance Violations
Certain actions are considered severe violations of our community trust and will result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the Platform without prior warning. These include:
Uploading any content that is obscene, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or illegal.
Sharing private, personal data of another user without their consent or encouraging off-platform transactions to circumvent Spixy’s systems.
Engaging in conduct that is fraudulent, defamatory, malicious, or abusive towards other users or Spixy staff.
